Like Flatbeds, Step Decks are also 48 or 53 feet long but lower to the ground. They get their name from the deck shape which has a step. The top "step" or upper deck is shorter than the lower "step" or deck. This allows transport of loads that may be too tall for a flatbed and can accommodate loads up to 10'. We recommend Step Decks to transport heavier freight such as construction equipment, military equipment, heavy machinery and more. The can also be used to transport vehicles or equipment that can be driven on to the deck with ramps.
